In 2023, we joined the European broiler chicken initiative of the \u2192 Albert Schweitzer Foundation<\/a> and are thus actively campaigning for better husbandry conditions and the welfare of broiler chickens.<\/em><\/p>\n

The aim of the initiative is to sustainably improve the living conditions of the animals through stricter animal welfare standards – such as lower stocking densities, restrictions on over-breeding and minimum standards for light and materials.<\/p>\n

As part of our commitment, we are publishing our \u2192 Progress report 2024<\/a> on the implementation of the requirements of the broiler chicken initiative here.<\/p>\n

By joining the broiler chicken initiative, we are making another important contribution to a more sustainable and ethical future.
