In 2023, we joined the European broiler chicken initiative of the → Albert Schweitzer Foundation and are thus actively campaigning for better husbandry conditions and the welfare of broiler chickens.
The aim of the initiative is to sustainably improve the living conditions of the animals through stricter animal welfare standards – such as lower stocking densities, restrictions on over-breeding and minimum standards for light and materials.
As part of our commitment, we are publishing our → Progress report 2024 on the implementation of the requirements of the broiler chicken initiative here.
By joining the broiler chicken initiative, we are making another important contribution to a more sustainable and ethical future. You can find more information about the initiative and our measures with a → click
